Welcome to GolDun Ridge Ranch in beautiful Sidney, MI where we are blessed to be partnering with, raising, and breeding a small herd of quality foundation bred American Quarter Horses that love spending time and working with their human partners! Most of our horses are used in our equine assisted therapy program, trail riding, & breeding program. However, others & their offspring have also found jobs out on the ranch, some have begun careers in the arenas and show rings, and many have also become valued contributors to various breeding programs across the country as our horses are recognized by AQHA, NFQHA, FQHA, IBHA, & ABRA registries.

We specialize in raising quality all around Foundation Bred American Quarter Horses in RARE colors (grullo, silver, champagne, and other dun & cream dilutes) that possess exceptional dispositions. While we prioritize sound minds, correct conformation, athleticism, and willing dispositions; we also believe that certain bloodlines can further expand and advance potential capabilities in the arena or ring, on trails, and out on the ranch. Over time, we have been carefully selecting and expanding our existing herd to develop a program of foundation bred stock that exemplify the versatility, athleticism, and beauty of the American Quarter Horse.

The tranquil pastures are where I personally experience solace from the busy days and it's where the soul finds peace and comfort with deep introspection and spiritual healing. After being blessed to personally own and raise horses for over 30 years and working in the field of mental health for over 20 years, I decided to share my beloved equine companions with others who may be seeking healing along their life journey. So our horses are not only a part of our family, but they are partners in providing equine assisted psychotherapy to clients seeking to find purpose, understanding, & healing on a deeper level. Horses have a way of listening to our heart and hearing our soul speak without a single word ever being spoken out loud. The special human-horse relationships that have been formed over centuries have been described by many, but to me I believe they are best defined as the "mirrors of our souls". They see us; sometimes more clearly than we are able to see ourselves- and they reflect back to us what they see through their behavior and interactions with us. Our herd members interact with people regularly and we welcome the opportunity to introduce you to our herd whether you are looking to set up an EAP session or seeking a new foal addition to include in your own herd.
